Leading Real Estate Team The Elaine Koch Group Joins Long & Foster
Top-producing team to work in the LFC at Bethesda office
Long & Foster | Christie’s International Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 independent real estate brand, welcomes Elaine Koch and The Elaine Koch Group to its LFC at Bethesda office. Koch and her top-producing team specialize in helping buyers and sellers throughout Montgomery County, Maryland, Washington, D.C., as well as Frederick County, Maryland.
“We’re excited to join Long & Foster and Christie’s International Real Estate by entering into the luxury real estate market with the top brokerage that dominates the high-end market,” said Koch. “I am excited about all the resources, marketing and technology that Long & Foster and Christie’s offers. With our expansion into the luxury space combined with the solid reputation of Long & Foster and Christie’s, we are set to provide a new level of service to our clients and be a leader in the luxury real estate market.”
Koch, a nearly 30-year real estate veteran, leads The Elaine Koch Group and is returning to Long & Foster after working with a competing local franchise. At 18, Koch started her career at Long & Foster while pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and working for a new homebuilder. “Being back at Long & Foster is being back at HOME for me,” Koch said.
Since starting her career, she has built a successful real estate team in the D.C. metro area by taking a comprehensive approach to property marketing and employing strong negotiation skills to help her clients gain the best value in their real estate investments. Koch also has a love for interior design, and that passion translates to added value for her listing clients, who benefit from her staging suggestions. Each marketing plan she develops for a listing includes design recommendations, ensuring the homes she sells are presented to their fullest potential.
In addition to her real estate sales and interior design expertise, Koch brings knowledge of the new homes and real estate development markets. Her grandfather was a real estate developer in Northern Virginia and his career sparked her interest in the business at a young age.
Koch and her group bring over 10 decades of real estate experience and expertise. At their previous local firm, they ranked as the top team in their office year after year. They were also recognized as a top team by Bethesda Magazine, Washingtonian magazine and Real Producers, and they have received numerous awards from the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR).
“We’re thrilled to welcome The Elaine Koch Group to our family. They are known throughout the region for exceeding their clients’ expectations and delivering exceptional results, and that’s the same reputation we’ve built at Long & Foster over the past 50 years,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “The combination of Long & Foster and The Elaine Koch Group’s unique skills, knowledge and experience will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”
In addition to Koch, team members Dianne Ohori, Joseph Myers, Jennifer Ambrose, Jenny Villatoro, Ronni Harris, Terri England, Jake Weber and Van Anderson will be joining Long & Foster.
Koch has always been very active in the community and gives back during her spare time. She serves as the secretary on the Board of the Wells Robertson House for the homeless and gives back to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, along with other local charities.
Overall, The Elaine Koch Group is committed to providing unparalleled customer service to all of its clients. Attentive, professional and relentlessly hard-working are just some of the shimmering endorsements their clients have generously offered of their team, both online and in person.
